We spoke briefly in the OBD Post about NOT having the RPM or Max RPM displayed amongst the Modes in the speedo.
Lee advised that I need to run a wire from a grey one which exists in the headlight and run it to a coil terminal. All good so far.
Remembering my Ural is 2022. Found both the coils perched under the forward end of the tank.
For the life of me I cannot find a terminal. I can locate a euro connecting plug.
Does this need to be detached and another connection made in that plug??
The Euro plug for the lower coil ie right cylinder has 2 blue wires one striped brown and the other striped red.

H, unless the 22 is different you will find two wires running to the coil. There should be a plug connector close by. Check which wire is 12v with ignition on. Connect tacho wire to the other….that is the trigger.

I laid a wire from the grey wire in the speedo to the high tension cable from the coil. About 2 inches along it. Works fine. But either wire from the coil would do. All it needs is a pulse.

Thanks oldmate. I'm working on that as a first option.

Thanks Deano. Very timely as amongst other things was having a go at this on the weekend. Don't know how I missed it as I do follow Uraljunkie. Cheers H
