Adjust the SC brake linkage so it is below your boot and peg. The peg height is also adjustable but may effect your gear shifting as well.

G'day Lee. Had a look at the sidecar linkage today from the hydraulic actuation end. I cannot readily see how adjusting from that side will lower the linkage. Perhaps I missed something. Does the magic happen from that side or the brake lever end, (RHS) which seems to have no adjustment. Just had a look at the Ural OZ spare parts on line. It seems there may be a number of splined connections running from the main pedal across to the hydraulic actuator beside the chair. Will have a better look tomorrow. Am I on the right track?

They were a horror show for boot clearance below the carbie.

First back off the SC master cylinder pushrod adjustment…….shorten it. I needed the brake pedal lower so fitted an adjustable stop under the right foot peg…..back off the rear master cylinder pushrod…set the pedal where I wanted it then adjusted the SC pushrod. That dropped the linkage below the left peg. Lastly, adjusted the rear m/c push rod.
The cross linkage has a splined connector if you need more adjustment.

Had the same issue, fitted a sheet metal guard over the linkage fixed by the two screws which hold the master cylinder shield in place, plenty of depth in the std screws. Used a connector for 200mm steel garden edging I had lying around, one rolled edge which helps with avoiding the welt of my boot catching underneath the plate. Weight of my boot will flex the plate down until it touches the linkage but does not move it. I have another piece of sheet if you want it, or happy to make one for you. PM if interested. No cost apart from postage.
