Well done mate. Certainly is encouraging, sad for some of the folk at Irbit who will be jobless. Interesting that plans were being made prior to Vlad's f#c%up to outsorce supply of cranks and crankcases, Irbit will indeed be only a component supplier.

Dear Dealers,
We’d like to share the latest developments in operations and the move of the assembly:
1) We have completed all the legal and banking formalities related to setup of the Kazakhstan entity.
2) The new WMI (World Manufacturer ID) has been assigned and registered with the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) - in other words the first three symbols of the VIN are now registered with the country of origin: Republic of Kazakhstan.
3) Space for warehouse and assembly shop is cleaned, fenced and ready to accept parts, components and assembly equipment. Total area: 1,800 m2/18,000 sq. feet.
4) Key management personnel is appointed, work permits are received, accommodations arranged. Of special interest: Chief QC manager of IMZ will serve as a Production Manager in Kazakhstan.
5) The first trial shipment of parts (mostly warranty parts for the US and Australia) is in Kazakhstan and is to be shipped to destinations in the next few days.
6) New metal crates for motorcycles are being developed, prototypes built and being tested.
7) We are also developing reusable packaging to deliver components from IMZ to Kazakhstan.
The last but not the least: IMZ has begun putting together the sets of parts for first container of bikes for IMWA. The plan is to deliver these sets to Kazakhstan by the end of June, and ship first container of bikes to IMWA late July – early August.
Information on pricing and ordering September production will be supplied in the next two weeks.
We thank you for your support and patience! Stay tuned for further developments.
The Team at Ural
