Just back from a visit to Uralla and Kentucky to say hello to Matt and Clare and partake in some training with Jon Taylor. Matt and Clare were fantastic and I’m still hoping for a rig in 2022 or early 2023 (ordered in November 2021). Jon is an absolute gentleman and a very patient trainer. I learned a real respect for the Ural and its intriguing physics on cambers! Flying the chair was a real highlight. I can’t recommend the 2 hour training with Jon enough! I think I win the award for most hill recoveries required

A couple of hours training would have been good. Lots of surprises and adrenaline bursts could have been avoided :]

I rode for 25 years before someone talked me into a free advanced rider course with Bernie Hatton of TopRider from the Gold Coast. Learnt more about riding over two days than I had in 25 years of experimentation.

Jon's training is fantastic. It's the best way to get your grounding. I had my training in December and, even though I didn't get my Ural until June, I remembered everything Jon said about camber, speed and muscle memory from solo riding. The solo riding style caused a couple of oops moments, but once the training kicked in I felt much more confident.
Here's hoping you have a new ride sooner than later. Having spoken to Clare and Mat, I know they're doing everything they can to get bikes into the country sooner rather than later.
