I got a little annoyed with corrugations drifting my wind screen to the left. Here is what I did.

Cheers Harry, good fix. I will have a look at my star washer collection this evening, thinking maybe lock a couple up between a cap screw and a nut and chuck that up in a cordless drill to reduce OD with a grinder.

I believe Uraljunkie tried that. But, it's worth another look for sure. He ran out of OD.

In the past I have found just a small unobtrusive right angle bracket fitted to the bottom centre of the screen and the plastic headlamp cover stabilises the screen.

I got a little annoyed with corrugations drifting my wind screen to the left. I used a little Copaslip under the heads of the two socket head cap screws to prevent galling. Worked for me, no more side slip.

Cheers Justin. I imagine Copaslip is anti-seize ?

Just put this little ripper on the outfit. Saw a shedload of very creative bracing at the Ural rally, however proper tightening and I mean tightening till you think it’s gonna break, does prevent sidewards slip.

I just noted the excellent arrangement used by Greg. The video guy and route planner for the last adventure Ride. I suggest others may like what he has done as well.
