Hi,
I've been for a few 3 or 4 hour rides lately, and after a while my backside gets a bit sore!
It's a 2020 Ranger, standard bench seat, and I do have a bit of a skinny, boney, thin backside.
Any ideas to make my life a bit more comfortable?
And on other bikes, I've done hours and hours in the saddle.
Thanks.
Mick

How strange, I've done the original ride back from Goulburn, a trip to Lithgow and a two day round trip to Uralla. Each time I got off thinking that the seat was actually pretty good. I've had a more sore backside from riding my old Harley and the F650 Dakar I just sold.
This weekend's three day ride, plus the ride up and the few days ride to QLD will probably confirm that my seat is a good travelling seat, or not.....
I agree with the cycling shorts, I've also used those mesh seat covers and lambswool. All work to a degree.

Good to meet you at the rally Miker, saw you headed north Monday morning as I limped back to Uralla. I reckon the old tractor seats work well, the bench seats on my solos not so.

Good to meet you too mate, hope you eventually got home OK. I’m now sitting in Glen Innes having dinner after riding from Nerang today. Sydney tomorrow. Still no sore bum, sore wrist yes, bum no. 🤣

Thanks for the tips and info!
I've changed my sitting position, I now sit an inch or so further forward, which puts a bit more weight on my feet, and probable changes where all the weight is on by backside. Sat on it for 5 hours the other day, almost no sore bum! And my Chiropractor will love me , because my back seems to be straighter.
Thanks,
Mick
