Hi All, I'm thinking of using 2 of these fuel taps, as a QD type of thing'o on the petrol tank. Thinking that I could use double sided tape to hold them in place on the bottom of the tank, and run the balance pipe from them. They are 6mm, is this the right size for the fuel lines? And they are only $3 each, which to me seems a bit cheap and nasty! Thoughts??? Thanks Mick

My 2015 has a different hose size for the under tank overflow compared to the rest of the fuel system which I thought was a bit weird, best to check what yours has?
I don't have a disconnect in mine as while I am sure it would be convenient its just another thing to fail. What I use is a pair of long nosed vice grips to clip off one end and rotate the tank away from the open end. The other set of long nosed vice grips clips off the feed line to the fuel pump. Never lost more than a few drops and that is normally from the pump.

Not much room for the two taps but it will work. I used a quick connect that was only $8.00……can’t see one that cheap on Ebay…..think I used AliXpress.
