Evening gents, ok flame suit on now so fire away 😂
Just wondered for the pusher wheel specifically, for longer life as we will be clocking up big km.
Mostly gravel and tar is what we will be doing, in reality probably small percentage of " off-road" with house and contents on board.
Soooo, 4.00 X 19 car tyre?, good options?, anything? Bueller?
Cheers Andi

Nothing on here that I've seen..19" might be the problem. That means a none too cheap respoke to the 2wd FD. BMW do it but theirs is single side swing arm and 17/18 rims. Flat savers are sometimes used, but load rating needs to be watched. Keep us posted. .

Haven't found a car tire equivalent.
Cost vs kilometers. Every time I go down this path it turns out I am paying way more for very little gain.

400x19 is a vintage car size. I have tried them but life gained is minimal and cost is considerably more buying here……..cheap in the US, but then Duro’s are only $35-40 there as well. Avon have a Triple Duty SC tyre and a Safety Mileage tyre…….sorry, HAD (factory closing) but they were $275 and did not last much better than the Duro which is the best km/$ available in OZ.
Just run Duro 308 (or Heidenau K37 for extra $ and less km ) and pay the happy travels tax. 🤣

I would be carrying at least 1 spare tyre and tube, possibly 2. My theory, and have applied to 4wd as well. Is to always start with max tread depth on dirt roads. As you get closer to the canvas the likelyhood of puncturing increases monumentally. Swap out for a good rear sooner rather than later. Keep the old one for service on the tar. Also consider rotating front and sc to the rear pusher. Just my 2c.
