Has anyone had to replace their sidecar fender ? I have a broken bracket , the rear one under the light and the fender itself falling apart where the bracket is attached. I'll have to take the whole thing off to get the bracket welded.

Cheers Mick Ok thanks , mine is also a 2020 model , I dunno if I have any warranty left. I sent an email to Ural Aus to see if they carry any fenders in stock. The bracket has snapped at the bend , I dont carry anything on the fender , it's just from vibration and the sidecar wheel suspension bottoming out maybe.

There have been a few with cracked guards and mountings. Usual cause is looseness but not always. With the guard bolts loose check that it fits up ok without stressing it. I have an extra mount on my 21 just because…….but never had the issue in 90k on the old bike.

Hi keith. My 2022 was loose from new. Took forever to find it. Since then it has come loose a couple of times. This suggests to me that the nylok nuts are not holding with reuse. I suggest replacing with an alternative. Include thread lock and a lock washer too. Having said that, I think the 2022 is different to yours..No brackets as in your photo.

Yeah the bracket has snapped at the bend , I heard the rattling , assumed a loose bolt but the bolt was tight. So the guard itself is cracked now .

Hopefully the 2022 is an improved version. The bracket is pretty dodgy , I think part of it is welded to the guard.

Here are the photos of my rear bracket. Sadly, I think it is the same as yours. Does your mounting have 3 attachment points? One at the very front near the swing arm, one in front of the SC axle and the busted one aft of the axle?? It looks like the fracture at the mudguard itself requires some giant reinforcing plates welding on to it both inside and out to spread the load should the bolts come loose. But, as you say if the nut and bolt were done up?? Points to the root cause being bracket failure first. You don't own a MIG welder do you?? OR know someone who is handy that way?
