G'day All,
Dunno if there is a Buy, Swap or Sell section, so I'll ask here.
I heard that Norm gave his Ural a head job, or should that read, he has done some work on the cylinder heads of his Ural motorcycle to make it function better, and was wondering if he has the old ones up for sale or if anyone has a pair Ural 750 cylinder heads up for sale.
ooroo, tone.

Hi Tone. I still have the engine I replaced last year. The bottom ends are R/s, but the heads should be ok. I'm in Tamworth- where are you? (Btw- free if you want it). The reason given for the blow-up was using synthetic oil on a long-ish trip. Apparently, synthetic oil tends to not pick up properly on splash-lubed bottom ends, although some will argue that point.

G'day Papasmurf,
Thank you for the info, and I'll have to take you up on the offer. I'm in Cranbourne, Victoria.
If you can weigh it for me, I'll look into getting a courier to get it sent down, or post.
Or next month the Ural Adventure ride is on and if things work out ok, I'll be up around your area and if your in could drop in on the way though. Either way it'll be good to declutter your shed, thanks again for your kind offer.
tone.

Tone- would be fairly expensive to courier, but depending on how you travel, the Adventure ride may be the way to go. My mob. is 0407456664 (Wayne)

I may be able to help you both out... partly at least. Have you two made any decisions yet?

'm just waiting for a call! I'll have carrying capacity at the Ural ride, and an interest in some of the engine depending on what you guys are cooking up.

Looking forward to catching up. The engine is in pieces (in a milk crate) so should be easier to carry. (A twin-engine Ural? )
