I'm fairly sure that I won't be there. At the moment I'm having a rest from both riding and travelling.

Things in Ippy are going pretty well at the moment so I look like hitting the road on the 5th Sept. Burra via Cunnamulla, Wanaaring, Minindee Lakes and Radium Hill historic Mine. Home via the Murray, Lake Mungo, sidecar rally at O'Connell, the RMOA Rally at Ewingar and probably Jon's Ride to pick up a few tyres. All the best to fellow Uralistas around the country.

Well , Jon's little event turned out to be bloody fantastic. What a great two days we had around the farm and the highlight would have been the Friday ride and visit to Evan's farm to see his great display of 'stuff' and to walk around the beautiful grounds of the property . Lunch in the hay shed with home made cakes and rolls just topped it off . Some fun up on the hill on Thursday with a slalom course around some drums sorted out the new riders from the old hands and as it turned out the new riders cleaned up the trophies . Thursday night saw 'drinks' up on the hill as the last light was falling over what would be one of the best views around Kentucky and then we moved onto a sit down BBQ in the studio and a chance to chat and share Ural stories . A farewell pizza night on Friday and everyone got to thank our wonderful hosts for putting on a great event . Long live Jon's little events . Helene and I made it into an eight day ride and just took our time getting there and finding some really nice tracks ....read rough as shit tracks....but that is what the Ural likes and thrives on them. We camped in some great spots and had the fire roaring and we managed not to start a major bush fire like we almost did last year . The weather Gods were very kind to us and for the whole week and we had brilliant warm days and not one drop of rain . Have attached a few pics of the event and some of our trip . Hope to see all you good folks at NARSTy. Cheers, Andrew and Helene.

Thanks for the pics. Great to see a good turn up ar HQ again. We were unable to fit it in this year with so many different events happening but hope to be there again in the future. As you said......see you at NASTy in March. I'm off on a six day run to Pooncarie with the ADV mob in a couple of weeks.

Well said Andrew, I would agree we all had a great time, and I hope John and his lovely family know how much we appreciate them running it.
