That makes two of us! I have been looking on eBay etc for a while, but 130-150 bucks is a bit to much, If you find 2 pair's I 'll buy a set, David

Plastic don't rust, dent, scratch, or need painting, and are cheap. They work for me.

There are metal leg quards on eBay. Seller iural75 has steel for $70 and plastic for $14.50 plus $20 postage.

Ive got the factory supplied plastic ones but if I wanted metal leg guards , I would use the plastic ones as a template and hand make them in the shed , they aren't that complicated .

I reckon Chris could knock a couple up out of empty cans by the campfire one night.... Come to think of it, he has a mudguard that is halfway to being leg guards... lee
