After 7 years and 26,000km the Ural is to be sold. Have been using it as our transport behind the motorhome for the last couple of years but the cook now wants to tow the Vitara. After 4 hip replacements she reckons it's just getting too hard to get in and out and long distances. Could be a new Ural in the near future just for me. So, question is, what's it worth. Mechanically good, 3 good tyres, body & frame good for the age. It's green and was the very first Ural of the modern variety sold in Australia. I think the trailer will go as well. It's a 7x5 I built all in 3mm box section, very heavy duty and has a rack for a tinny or a canoe. I have no idea what the bike's worth so thought I would get an opinion here before going on the open market. The trailer I will let go for around $1,200. email:- gmjm@internode.on.net Attachments:

Trailer is good for the price was wondering where you are. We are in South Australia just south of Adelaide. Trailer includes ramps and heavy manual winch.

Hi I am in Qlds, so it's too far for me for the trailer but Urals seem to hold there price pretty well so you should be able to get somewhere between $10000 to $12000. There are a few on gumtree at the moment so I would list it there to start as it doesn't cost.

Just as a matter of interest- where did you get the strip-planked canoe? Looks exactly like one I built in 1988, which ended up in Tassie! Was made using strips of meranti, glassed over.
