Someone in the distant past spoke to me about using my Windmill airbox lid to make a mold so more could be made. Can you let me know if you're still interested and we might go ahead with that?

It was me Roscoau. If the one you have is in reasonable shape it is not to difficult to make a mould then use it to lay up fibreglass ones. Post some pics of the one you have. I have a good friend that is a fibreglass guru! What sort of filters does it use? Cheers Paul (Wheels)

It was me Roscoau. If the one you have is in reasonable shape it is not to difficult to make a mould then use it to lay up fibreglass ones. Post some pics of the one you have. I have a good friend that is a fibreglass guru! What sort of filters does it use? The filter is a piece of Unifilter foam. Easy to carry spares in a sandwich bag. The guy has disappeared from the net as far as I can tell and he never replied when I had trouble. It has broken twice - you can see the inlet with two screws holding the metal part at the top of this pic. That's not there any more but I'm sure that could be worked around.

More bits than I thought!………Don't think it would be worth messing with Roscoau. Sort of looks crappy when pulled to bits Did it perform any better than the standard Ural air box?
