Well I thought over 6500k's, those pesky QLD roads seem to chew them up, it did OK. But thinking might start using heavy duty tubes only just to leave the tires on a bit longer, or ask the Ruskies to put more canvass in them, what do ya recon.

Well I thought over 6500k's, those pesky QLD roads seem to chew them up, it did OK. But thinking might start using heavy duty tubes only just to leave the tires on a bit longer, or ask the Ruskies to put more canvass in them, what do ya recon. Tone, mine had done 9500km. It was an excelsior and I expected to get better k's out of it at the price. (190) The knobbies just melt away so I think I will revert to the Duro 308. Had no trouble getting 10000km out of them and Charlie said he only pays $80 something for them in Ballarat. Lee

The original tyres on mine were 2 ply. 6 ply handle better on the rear but I would be happy with 4 ply at $80+
