308's come in both 4 and 6 ply. Ural original equipment is for the 6 ply, and these are the tyres Jon sells. Both are distributed throughput Oz. 4 ply, of course, are cheaper. The original tyres on mine were 2 ply. 6 ply handle better on the rear but I would be happy with 4 ply at $80+ Don't think they make a 2 ply .. Maybe for a pushbike .. Lol .... I had Avon Safety Mileage tyres fitted to the Bondi. They were well worth the money ($175), for grip and wear rates. Compared to the Duros- I almost had to learn to ride again- no slip under hard cornering, just steer, throttle and go!
