Hi to all, but SA Uralista especially.
The SA MRA has asked the SA Sidecar club to lead off this years Adelaide Toy Run. The club is very informal and has no membership as such. So the call is going out to any and all sidecars to be involved.
The format will be an early arrival at Victoria Park (7.00am on!). Stickers will be issued to participants before hand and need to be displayed to access the front area. First off is Police escort, marshals, Father Christmas then lead group (us) and VIP's. Speed through town is 25km/h then 40 up Glen Osmond Rd, 60 from Toll Gate to tunnels then probably no more than 80 from there on to Callington. (Police and lead marshals do a very quick run to Callington from the tunnels). The jolly fat man's sleigh is an ex police Honda with chair that is a bit the worse for wear in the engine department, so speed will not be a problem. I will post more details as they come to hand. Entry stickers should be available early in November. The sidecar club is planning to get as many of us as possible together at that time to distribute stickers and talk things through.
