Fantastic Ross. The best thing you have done since.........since........well doesโt matter how long it has been.......the speedo is a winner......OH, and you are too Ross.
I can see a few wanting this. ๐๐๐๐
Google and Ebay.....say $100 Love it. Minor negative is trip meter returning to zero everytime you power off but I guess it could remain powered and an additional switch added to power off when you want.......Not having reserve or low fuel light, I rely on trip distance for fuel stops.
xmas present coming I think...๐

I'll miss the trip meter too, but like the fuel tap you just have to retrain you brain to work how it did in the old days. Since I keep all my fuel records on my phone in a gem of an app called Roadtrip if I'm not sure how far I've done on a tank I can look it up there.

My speedo Using 'make an offer' got the price down to $100 from $107. Gotta play the game... It was a totally perfect fit like it was made for the bike, no fiddling at all. Plus it actually frees up space behind the headlight not having the speedo cable in there. I need an old speedo cable to use the bottom bit to seal off the gearbox where it connects - anyone got one? I only really want the casing. Any other suggestions for sealing off the drive point on the gearbox?

It's ok most of the time but the needle sticks sometimes now. I can see the time coming when I'll have to replace it.

Had my toungue planted firmly in my cheek when I commented about the maximum 120k on the speedo. Anything above on a Ural is pretty much superfluous anyway haha.
