Hi All, and Norm,

I have added my name to the 2013 Pooncarie / Lindsay Island Run (Top Hut Run) for 1 & 2 Nov 2013.

I heard about this ride from a friend in Darwin when I was there in July.

We are on the road. Eight of us left Kersbrook at midday Thursday, 31Oct2013. Three Urals, Lou (me), Peter and Adrian with Karen, and 5 solos, Pete, Trev, Brett (Triumphs), Grant (Honda), and Marty, (Suzuki). Great weather for riding.

We rode 320 kms today, with over 100 kms unsealed, mostly well graded and very enjoyable. The Urals love the dirt.

We travelled via Walkers Flat to overnight at Renmark.

Only one hiccup; Marty had a puncture. He rode over some old fencing wire and spiked the tube. He soon had it fixed under the excellent guidance of Trev with his picnic table all setup.

Good news is that I got 11.9 km/L with the new blue air filter. (Thanks Lee)
