Is this the EFI air filter? Just buy it from Clare. And also a cautionary tale. I used to work for a local hobby shop part time. The owner supported local groups, helped everyone with problems and was local. Along came Hobbyking from china/Hongkong. People flocked to the cheaper prices and guess what? Local hobby shop can't compete and is gone. Try talking to someone in Hobbyking. We should support Ural Australia. They offer great support. And they deserve our support.

Further to the above comment. Why use a washable filter element?

Paper filter is best unless you are away for weeks in very dusty conditions when the washable becomes gold.

Was not aware that UA sold the K & N washable filter. I don't think they do. But, from some recent posts in other places, I would be having a good look at the sealing arrangement on the air cleaner box first.

Yes but they are light enough to carry a spare if you are worried. And they are half the price of the washable. You would need some serious dust to use 2 on a trip. Have used washables on dirt bikes and they are a pain to clean. Every vehicle here uses paper. My guess is that not a lot of people here spend 'weeks' in the bulldust. Certainly not us.

We have done numerous URAL rides where cleaning the air filter each night was a necessity.

We have done numerous URAL rides where cleaning the air filter each night was a necessity. As a heads up for the newbies. What was your daily filter cleaning routine? Just tapping it out or compressed air blast? What is the sealing arrangement in the filter box lid? Is there a physical seal?
