Yesterdays outing was to Blackmans Point slightly north of Port Macquarie. When Galdy's was in power she gave the good citizens of NSW a bunch of $25 vouchers to use in the hope the economy would be stimulated. I still had a few and a trip to Riccado's Tomato's seemed like a good idea as it was one of the few business' in the area that accepted them. First stop was Coopernook for cheap fuel (under $1.70 so a bargain) then through the Coopernook forest and up to Stewarts River then across to Lorne and Kew. Unfortunately A1 is pretty much the only option here so I gave the new crank a run, two up, at 110 for about 20 kilometres and it seemed to be ok. Coffee, Pasata, Soap, Fresh Roma Tomatos, some sort of Curry mix and $50 worth of vouchers later we headed back home via Wauchope, Byabarra and stopped on the top of the escarpment at Comboyne looking across the Lansdowne valley (not shown on the map). Shame the Kopping Yarrat Rd is still closed, but we dropped in on the new owners of the Udder Cow Cafe for some lunch before heading back to Wingham via the Killabakh forest. The Byabarra road has been closed for a few months so it was good to see it open again. Very enjoyable day and I am feeling it this morning - not as match fit as I thought I was.

Good stuff , how was the weather , a bit warm ? Only got to 29 degrees so very mild. On the top of the escarpment it was about 24 and I was joking about buying a "Summer House" up there.

And they must have more cylinders by the looks of that crank, kick starting the engine would be a challenge .

Bio- diesel to meet Euro 5. 🤣🤣 I have done 1,700 kilometres since the crank replacement, the first 1,000 were gentle using varied gear and RPM and never over 4,000rpm. The oil and filter were changed at 200 and again 1,000. Oil is checked daily using the Ural preferred method of unscrewed dipstick. The engine is warmed for 2 to 3 minutes before riding while I put on my gear and lock the shed. If running the engine over 4,500 rpm on the expressway for 20 kilometres is likely to cause another crank failure then its time to sell this heap of garbage and move on And given Craig in Port Macq is flogging his 2015 cT (22,000k's) on Bikesales for $21,500 it is something that is very much on the cards.

For what it’s worth!….on the first oil change I changed to Penrite HPR 30 20W-60 in the engine and Penrite Gear Oil 80W-90 in the Gearbox and final drive. And always used the products in the pic as per instructions. Does the pic of the speedo speak a thousand words?..maybe! As with all things Ural I guess it’s a case of what works for you. Touch wood, it has so far here. Cheers Wheels 😎

Same here and have done since day 1, with the exception of the GB oil, I just use engine oil. Tried gear oil in the box a couple of times and my GB never sent me a thankyou card as some suggest.
