that's pretty sad regarding the bolts, most modern manufacturing, you cant see any traces of the assembly tools.

I've made a major modification to the breather , to stop the little mess it's been making. High tech stuff.

just curious keith, have you spoken to Ural re the bolts, I had six bolts replaced on a BMW I owned under warranty as they had started to rust because the coating on them, had been damaged on assembly, BMW had no issue in replacing them, "its not right".

I have heard that is a successful method elsewhere though. 😳😳 Maybe better to raise the breather further. Cause is usually too much oil or running hot..........is yours well and truly run in ?

On the 1WD it is 90ml, I had the breather covered in oil when I first got then filled it with 90ml, now don’t have any issues.

No I haven't complained to Ural , I probably should but not sure who to contact. My dealer is a bit "disorganised"

I'm thinking there is enough air in the bag to breath ? I got the idea from the mod I saw where they put a bellows on the breather. I think its a good idea as it stops the drive from sucking in moisture and tiny particles , that's my theory anyway.
