Not an issue provided it does not touch the disc. There is a washer on the axle ( before the wheel is on) that you could replace with a thinner one if necessary. Have you checked the disc on the bobbins?? Tight?? Disc looks fine, bobbins appear ok with spring loaded movement, have never had the wheel off yet but it would need a bigger washer to space it out as currently it is biased the SC and need to go out a few mm. Tomorrow will see if plunging it manually has had any effect as it is hard to tell in first gear in the camp ground without pissing everyone off. All good, will get it sorted I am sure, got the whole of Australia to do it 😂

The washer will need to be larger…..they do wear, particularly if the wheel is not tight enough on the axle……they say it is sacrificial but there should be no movement so it should not wear. Mine did, and was making a clicking noise with slow wheel rotation. Washer was gouged. You will find it difficult to remove as you cannot just get hold of it and the grease hangs on.

Righton, no more Mr.Niceguy.
Pumped the SC cylinder without the bike push rod, lifted the reservoir top off to avoid any vacuum, pumped the crap out of it then reinstalled everything.
We now have some brakes but still pulling to the right so not much SC, maybe the pads need more bedding/seating to their new position, tomorrow they will get a workout in search of a water fall in a dodgy area 😂
Anyone have a pic of said washer?

Item 13 Hmmm.2MotoKiwi is a 2022. The schematic is a 2023 or 4 with CV Joints. The sacrificial washer(distance ring) is number 21 on the 2022 schematic. Same number, so assume it is the same size and position.

Interesting on "stats" between manuals, we have two manuals for 2022 with 2 different exhaust valve clearances 👽🤐🙄...got that sorted now too.
Today we gave her a workout, the brake has markedly improved but still far from even, got some new semi sintered EBC pads coming 🤙

I tried it on the pusher once and wasn't impressed mainly because they only seemed to work after a good workout and when hot. They would catch and skip the back tire more than non-sintered and also made a visible difference to disk wear. Cold brake performance, like in traffic, was noticeably lacking compared to the normal crap pads. Be interested to see how you get on.

The 266V that we have ordered are semi sintered so take less warning up and are not harsh on rotors, the 266HH are better pads for hot work and more aggressive braking but they require much more heat to work well. The 266V are a compromise between better life of pads and braking strength v disc machining capacity, these should take a little more crap without disappearing too fast...time will tell.
