Ural National Rally Day 2013 is September 7, 2013 – Everywhere in the world nationalrallyday.com/?p=83
2013 Ural National Rally Day | Ural National Rally Day nationalrallyday.com Ural National Rally Day 2013 is September 7, 2013 – Everywhere. Since we Ural riders are kind of thin on the ground this rally lets us all do something together - wherever we are.
How about starting in the city somewhere by the torrens river and then traversing out thru the Barossa stopping at maggie beers for morning tea. Could land up on the other side of the Murray back around to Mannum for lunch then back accross over the hills to Birdwood and back into Adelaide. That should be about 250klms with many items of interest to log on the way...?

I'm sorry for being repetitive... but surely we around the NSW/Vic border could take advantage of this excuse to find ourselves at the same place on the same day? Work out a central-ish spot, or just tell me to piss off...

G'day Stuart,
Looks like a plan. We all know that Adelaide is now the centre of the Ural Oz world!
Dave and Annie will be staying with me before KIRSTy, I'm sure they will welcome the chance to explore some of the country's best motorcycle roads.

2013 Ural National Rally Day I'll put a route together and test it out. I'm sure I can come up with some interesting scenery and some no-black roads. If anyone has a particular suggestion for stopping along the way please let me know and I'll log it in on the run. Either post here or email gobiural@gmail.com Stuart & Bev

Count me in, Stuart. Dave and Annie will be staying with me, and they will most likely join in, as will ChrisD. Looking forward to seeing the Hills at their best.

The Ural National Day package is: For more information check out the rally rules and get a rally packet: nationalrallyday.com/_pdf/NRD_packet_2013.pdfThis ride is aimed at the American Ural riders but a Ural World wide day ride is coming and we can get SA of to a good start by joining in unofficially. Most of the proposed ride will be finalised by next week end and details posted.
Still leaving from Adelaide CBD and returning to the same area. Direction will be thru the Adelaide hills to the Barossa Valley onto the River Murray to Mannum and back to Adelaide thru a different section of the Adelaide hills.
Various bitumen and good dirt roads will be used and the route will take in quite a few scenic landmarks as well as a special visit to one place where it is proposed to have morning tea (tbc)

NATIONAL URAL DAY SOUTH AUSTRALIA
OK Guys and Galls the National Ural Day is on the 7th September. Assemble at Cnr West Tce & Currie Street at the service station "On The Run" for fuel, breakfast etc well before so we can leave at 9.00am.
We will be travelling thru Tea Tree Gully to Maggie Beers for a good stop. On thru Nuriootpa (where you can cast an absentee vote if you've forgotten) and then via some interesting roads to the Murray River and onto Mannum.
This will be our final stop down by the river.
Full details will be available on the day and there is fuel at various places thruout the days run.
We haven't put any items into the run to gain points etc as this is the first time we have joined together to participate in a world event. I am sure that future ideas will emerge from this run so we can have different fun next year.
The route that has been planned and tested has many different aspects to both the roads and scenery and we as organisers are quite pleased how it's turned out.
Mick from Micks Motorcycles will join us at Maggie's and there will also be a write-up in the local paper. Local people are very interested in this run and we may see quite a few spectators around the Barossa Valley.
Several people have indicated they wish to participate however now we need to confirm numbers so please send an email to: gobiural@gmail.com so you can be added to the list.
Michael Dight, Cathy Atkinson, Graeme Hardwick and Bev & Stuart Perkins are putting in the work of organising this run so it is a shared responsibility which is good.
If you require any further details email gobiural@gmail.com and we will get back to you.
Come along and make this our annual event for NATIONAL URAL DAY
