Nice trailer. Are you 'all set to go' to do that Tassie map trip marked out on the shed wall???

Nice trailer. Are you 'all set to go' to do that Tassie map trip marked out on the shed wall??? Already done it!...twice!...the map shows the tracks of both those trips to Tassie totalling seven weeks and mostly riding each day and seriously thinking of another one. Trip one was on one bike!...Trip two was on both our bikes!...Next trip on one bike!...No place like Tassie for touring on a Ural. Cheers Wheels😎

Yep! 8x6 Stonegate industries heavy duty tilt trailer. 1400kg ATM. Built pretty good for a Chinese built trailer and good value for money😎

After some more info about the trailer here. 8x6 Stonebridge. Do I see a winch on it? How do you load bike? Are you happy with it? I am in NSW and am struggling to find an 8x6. Plenty of 8x5 but too tight I think. Maybe can get a 10x 6 but if your trailer works I might have to go the QLD way. When you let me in. Also is the box on it theirs (small or large) or did. you fit it. The tyre bracket is theirs I assume. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Always said I would never trailer a bike but with some of the rallies a loong way away, a trailer on the back of our motorhome wins points with the co pilot so may be the way to go. Thanks.

If you do not have a need for a box trailer the Ural goes very nicely on a flat bed bike trailer. Just need to be wary of mud guard height and width between guards if just a smidge over 4ft. Will find and post a pic of my previous light trailer.

Yes have thought of a flat bed also but would like to get some form of cover on the trailer to keep the bike dry. The box trailer seemed to be a bit easier in this regard. Have built a boxy and boat trailer in the past but the rules and regs getting one road worthied and a bad dose of laziness leads me toward buying one. Some second hand ones around but some need rebuilding anyway. Will keep looking. Thanks

You won’t easily fit a Ural on anything less than an 8x6 trailer unless you are prepared to take a punt or modify! Yep! there is a small 12 volt winch on mine and you do not need ramps because it is a tilt trailer. Tilt the trailer with tailgate down and winch straight up or down. There are a few issues with balance at various points but in essence your Ural can be loaded or unloaded without ramps but a winch of some sort be it manual or electric is essential. The trailer is a standard 8x6 heavy duty Stonegate Industries Trailer and readily available on the Goldcoast or their headquarters in Brisbane. Cheers Wheels😎
