Just by the way, lots of the sellers through Ali-X appear to be Russian. 👀

I used "obd2" as well. They seemed to me to be a good source for connectors. But, were not interested when I tried to get some from them. Otherwise they're OK. Good delivery.

I've got the guys at OBD2 Australia who I've dealt with locally before co-incidentally in another business getting the factory to make the Ural 2019+ cable fully assembled and bring in a batch of 10 of them. Availability about 3 weeks away.
I'll post up a link here for anyone who wants to buy one - they'll be about $30. You can also buy a bluetooth OBD2 dongle from them as well for about the same.

About $10 for connectors and a $35 OBD reader…..works just fine. The URAL OBD software app for your phone is proprietary and will only work with their expensive reader…….unless you can break their code. Either way, you cannot do throttle balance. ……..And why would you need it to read RPM when you have a tacho in the speedo ? Mine reads all codes including head temp. and clears codes easily. Good stuff Lee , I have some of the bits and some are on their way. Do you have a diagram for the pinouts on the cables ? I'm bound to stuff it up.

Ground is green, pin 4 -> 2; battery is red, pin 16 -> 4; k-line is black, pin 7 -> 6. EDIT by lee. These are NOT the colours at the URAL diagnostic port. They may or may not be correct for the OBD2 Socket you buy. Check your bikes wiring colours and connect to the correct numbered pin of the OBD socket………Do not get the K-line wrong. Computers do not like 12v. 👀

Thanks guys I got mine connected , it doesn't really show me much. But I'll have it in case I need to read a fault code and clear it.
The Ural App and OBD tool gives a lot more information ?

OBD2 are getting their guys to make up some cables, and I'll post a link when they are ready to purchase directly from OBD2.
I decided not to import the bits and make them myself in the end, easier to just get from them.
