OBD2 are getting their guys to make up some cables, and I'll post a link when they are ready to purchase directly from OBD2. I decided not to import the bits and make them myself in the end, easier to just get from them. I have the dongle as well But being half blind, not too flash at attaching fittings. I would like one too. Not keen to f***up the K line. By the sound of it, it might br first in, best dressed?? Thanks for your work.

The only "small" issue with the K-line is if you are testing with an Ohm meter (that puts 9v into a 5v circuit) or if you connect it to the 12v power wire for whatever reason.......the smoke will escape from the ECU. For the uninitiated with electronics......only ever test anything with a volt meter while is connected to a computer.

About $10 for connectors and a $35 OBD reader…..works just fine. The URAL OBD software app for your phone is proprietary and will only work with their expensive reader…….unless you can break their code. Either way, you cannot do throttle balance. ……..And why would you need it to read RPM when you have a tacho in the speedo ? Mine reads all codes including head temp. and clears codes easily. Hi Lee. I was looking through the speedo modes today as I was resetting one of the trips. I haven't seen an rpm yet and the max rpm doesn't work either. I will look again though.

Haitch, you need to connect a wire from speedo (grey) to one coil terminal.

Plug colours on my bike…. GND…….BLACK POWER…….BLUE K-line……..GREEN OBD FEMALE PLUG. Look closely at your plug…..pins are numbered. GND. 4. K-LINE 7. POWER. 16 Same as Mine. Although my OBD 16 pin has no numbers. so figuring out the correct colours was a bit of a trial. Got it in the end (I think)
