Hi all,
Please factor into your driving habits/skills that the Gawler Ranges has a massive plague proportion of Roos, nearly 50% above normal, causing some concerns with local farmers who have called for a Roo cull, local crash repairs shops are booming ! I saw at the Manna Hill sidecar rally just what a Roo can do to a Ural rig, lucky lady rider was unhurt but as they say be fore warned .
Cheers
Rob
Since the demise of the Ferry to lucky bay I shall be trailering my Ural over to Mt Ives and Lincoln
Hope you all have secured accommodation at Mt Ives and Lincoln

Gawler Ranges : Port Lincoln portion of this Rally: Can you let me know who has booked Port Lincoln accommodation : I am looking at Port Lincoln Tourist Park which I know has a good reputation and excellent location . 11 Hindmarsh Street 08 8621 4444
Self contained cabins which can sleep 6 are from $105. Unpowered camp sites from $25pn with more upmarket grass camp sites with power from $32 pn . other cabins are on offer .http://www.portlincolntouristpark.com.au/accommodation/self-contained-cabins/
Cheers Rob

The double room at Mount Ives station that Rob and I cancelled is available if anyone wants it๐ We are now taking our Troopy and it is all setup for camping so we will use that.

NUTTBUSH ACCOMODATION......warning....
If you think you have a booking at Nuttbush you need to think again. I have spoken with the owner Julie who informs me they have no bookings for April at all, other than a tentative construction workers booking.
This is despite me having booked weeks ago and supposedly paying in full by credit card..... Julie was very appologetic and pleasant but we will now be staying in Port Augusta.

Hi Lee,
Pity that Nuttbush got it so wrong, I will be trailering the rig over to Mt Ives and shall be staying at the Cabins in Stirling North just out from Port Augusta, the web site is :http://fullerviews.com.au/ Plenty of room for trailers and walking distance to the pub for meals , I have not yet booked but shall do so soon for the Tuesday night 3rd of April.
Once I get more details from the Kimba area council on the roads etc I shall post more info
Cheers
Rob
