Putting my hand up to organise ARSTY'19 starting in late April early May 2019…..4 or 5 days at Killarney (on the Qld/NSW border) and 4 or 5 days at Tenterfield (NSW) ending up at Uralla (ural headquarters) on the last day. Both Killarney and Tenterfield offer some great day rides with the ride between locations offering gravel and tar roads with pleasant! easy! riding with some nice coffee stops. Robyn and I have ridden the area fairly extensively. It is picturesque with both easy and challenging rides and the caravan parks we stay at in Killarney and Tenterfield are excellent offering a range of nice cabin accommodations. The camping spots are grassy well maintained sites and the camp kitchens first class. ARSTY'19 will be a great opportunity for all the Northern NSW and Qld Ural owners to participate in!….an ARSTY event closer to home! at last! Anyone interested?
Cheers Wheels😎

Good onya WHEELS. 😀 We are in.......👫
Minor date issue as usual though. Late April has Easter followed by Anzac day weekend....... May 1st looks like a good start date for me, but I am only two people.

Excellent Wheels ,
We r in for sure, I have the same thoughts as Lee , if we can avoid the school holidays, Easter and Anzac day that would be great.
Cheers

I edited my original post to read STARTING late April early May!…..I will allow plenty of time for people to get there without any holiday issues!…... By the time I'm done with the organisational side there won't be any holidays in sight!……BEFORE! DURING! and AFTER! the event. The Condamine River/Gorge ride should be interesting with a bunch of Urals😀…..certainly was for Rob and I😜

I'm in 👌 Good on ya for taking on the planing mate.If there is anything I can do to help ,such a pre running a section, just let me know. There is some great riding up in that area .
The Condamine Gorge is a ripper ride but keep an eye on the weather reports , that little river turns to a raging torrent when big rain hits the mountains 😧 A mate has a good story about lying under his KLR in one of the crossings ,just his face above water as he waited for one of his ride crew to come back and find/rescue him.Just a little bit too deep on that day 😜 Cheers, Macca

Well done Wheels.
This proposal almost makes Jenny and I regret having sold the Tourist last year!
Wishing the crew all the best,
Geoff.

Now there's an idea Lee.
Jen and I will be in Victoria during April next year with our ute, caravan and my Suzuki DRZ 400. I'll be parking Jen up at Yackandandah from April 13th to 18th while I do an unsupported adventure ride on the DRZ with a mate from Perth and 10 of his friends who all have local knowledge of the high country.
We could conceivably then make our way to Uralla, leave our rig there, and carry on to Killarney on a hire outfit.
What a plan!
Cheers, Geoff.
