To ARSTY 19 fellow riders!...Rob and I rode back up to Killarney last Wednesday just to see whether the Arcacia Plateau Road (that was the Road we turned left onto from Arcacia scrub Road on the last day) was doable but got turned back on the upper reaches with muddy, rocky steep climbs in rain forest on an unused track. It would be doable if there was a bunch of us as I think a bit of push and shove would be required but it it is spectacular country and a true challenge, but for Rob and I discretion was the better part of valour (don’t I hate that!)....but one day!! Hey Wheels, how does it compare to that Omara Road climb from Killarney to the telecommunications station - wonderful view from there to. That was an interesting climb!

Hi Gary! no where near as bad as that but it was in wet rainforest red mud country which may have got ugly with just the two of us. I’ll have to get a few of the Brisbane folks on board and do it one weekend. To good not to give it a go. Cheers Wheels😎 |

Damned if I know how I got things done while still working for a living. 🤣🤣🤣
Off on a six day ride around Victoria with the Black Dog ride in a weeks time. Might get a chance to look at a couple of accomodation sites on the way through.
