If it runs 95kph in third but won’ go any faster in fourth it is lacking torque. That suggests to me that the timing is retarded. ——-Flywheel incorrectly machined keyway or even missing key. Suggest checking tdc mark physically with piston at tdc.

Suggest checking tdc mark physically with piston at tdc. I've been doing some research on cat removal via the US. Not sure if it will help here or not. Since the High Comp 2022+ were released there has been at least 2 possibly 3 different ECU maps. The first was on the 2021, followed by 2 more on the 2022 all to combat over heating by retarding the timing. The first container into the US all had pinging problems. Ural quickly did a remap (Version T208) to retard the timing. This was insufficient to resolve the pinging on all bikes. So, another remap retarded the ignition even more. This was version T210. My information also included a 1000 Mile Dyno test to affirm the loss of 1.3 HP and 0.8 ft lb of torque between T208 and T210. I am told that all bikes coming out of the factory post 5th May 2022 will have the T210 version in them. If anyone is interested, I have permission to publish the full transcript in this forum, which deals with other related matters. Cat removal and cooler running for the 2022+ engines.

I would be interested to know what the fuel supply pressure is at the injectors . Just saying .

Piper, I doubt it would manage 95kph in 3rd with low injection pressure.

While I am still a noooob on Urals and I don't know how the gearbox goes together, is your engine lazy in all gears?, is it spritely up till 3rd then dead in 4th?, just thinkin sideways here could it be a problem with 4th gear?, too tight, crush fit, over tightened, over thrusted, Lee could this possibly be something or possibility?

Possible, but after 15000km I would think a “tight box” would have festered into a bigger problem……..he is in WA so maybe riding in sand. 🤣🤣
