I have also used a Ryco Z445 Oil filter . If I'm not mistaken they use the same filter as a Holden Commodore

My 2014 EFI Good info from Macca, thanks. I have also used a Ryco Z445 Oil filter . Cheers Rob The Ryco Z608 is the correct diameter filter. The Z445 has a smaller diameter and doesn't cover the the sealing surface on the engine case. Stick with the Z608 and you won't get stone chips on the sealing surface as you might do if you use the smaller dia filters. I have spoken to the Ryco tech info service and they say the Z608 crosses over from the OEM filter than my bike came with. Cheers, Andrew.

When tracking down a swing arm clicking noise (as bike is rolled forward & back) remove the alloy step plate and check for noise again. How high tech is that

Fitting new rear pads to EFI.
Make sure you back the hand brake off at the caliper before trying to push the pistons in to fit new pads . doh . Took me a few minutes to work out why the pistons wouldn't go back in .
Did I read the workshop manual ? Of course not.

G'day Comrades, Found a interesting thing today, Oil Filters are not the same. The shorter one came out of a motor that had buggered its big ends. Question is was it the cause because of lack of pressure. The shorter filter was able to flop around inside the housing even with the bottom location nut tightened up. Maybe the lesson there is always use genuine oil filters.

Hey Tone, the short filter would not have effected the oil flow other than not filtering it.
